Social networking sites are considered the most prevalent on the Internet, because of the characteristics that they have that distinguish them from other websites, and this is what encouraged Internet surfers from all over the world to turn to websites, as these sites helped to connect peoples with their various cultural orientations, transcending geographical boundaries. These digital networks provide a large and huge amount of information, attitudes and trends, thus contributing to making it an environment for everything that happens around it in terms of events and facts, as well as facilitating the process of communication between its users and eliminating cultural differences and characterized by interaction and globality, which makes millions of users all over the world frequent according to their demands and needs, One of the most important of these sites is Twitter, which is one of the most widely used social networking sites, as it is known by a large number of users of social networks of all ages and categories, which has given it a global reputation among other sites due to its many characteristics that give it a special luster and attract a huge number of its pioneers. Those who are highly applauded for the benefits and services it provides, so we will try, through our research paper, to identify the Algerian youth’s use of “Twitter” to follow private satellite channels and we chose the An-Nahar channel page.
