وهبة الزحيلي ومنهجه في التفسير الوسيط – البقرة أنموذجاً –
This research examines the approach of the late Professor Sheikh Wahba Al-Zuhayli through his exegesis titled “Al-Tafsir Al-Wasit” (The Intermediate Exegesis). The aim is to elucidate his methodology and reveal significant aspects of Al-Zuhayli’s life that influenced his intermediate exegesis. The study defines his scholarly persona, unveils his academic contributions, and highlights his intellectual and educational role in serving the religion.
The research addresses the linguistic and terminological aspects of exegesis, elucidating the methodology employed by Sheikh Wahba Al-Zuhayli in his interpretation. It emphasizes explicating the meaning of verses, his distinctive style, reasons for revelation, and interpreting the Quran with the Quran, with a focus on essential grammatical considerations. The Quranic verses are categorized according to themes, with special attention given to avoiding Israeli narratives and stories.
In the concluding section of the research, specific examples are presented to illustrate the practical application of the intermediate exegesis methodology as demonstrated by Sheikh Al-Zuhayli in his exegesis. The study follows a descriptive-analytical approach adhering to the scientific research methodology guidelines.
