الوقف المالي النقدي: أهميته وتطبيقاته المعاصرة
In light of the economic, health and social crises that the modern world has become aware of, it has become necessary to move towards new and innovative financing methods that do not place financial profit as the primary driver of its investment strategies. Accordingly, various economies of the world are turning to the non-profit sector to finance projects of a social nature that particularly target fragile and marginalized groups.
From this standpoint, the great importance of the endowment sector is evident as it is one of the most prominent non-profit sectors, which is primarily concerned with advancing the social aspect. However, most of the endowment funds in the Islamic world, the profits of which can be invested, are mostly limited to material endowment funds, consisting of real estate properties and agricultural lands, which limits the diversity of endowment resources.
Accordingly, more attention must be paid to modern formulas for developing endowment funds, in a way that responds to the requirements of society and does not contradict the provisions of Sharia. Among these formulas is the endowment of cash funds, because the whole point of endowment is to invest and spend them and to ensure that they achieve their charitable goals and objectives, and this benefit is only achieved by activating and investing this money.
This research enables us to understand the problem of endowment of cash funds, and to study and analyze it, by adopting an inductive and descriptive methodology.
This research has shown the great importance of endowment of cash, as well as the multiplicity of ways to invest it in charitable causes and the possibility of applying them. The conclusions of this research will also enable the development of the endowment institution, especially since the need now for money has become greater than for the exploitation of real estate, lands, etc.
