Hadis Alimlerine Göre (Saduk) Hadisin Derecesi

درجة حديث (صدوق) عند المحدثين

This research encompasses a branch of the science of hadith, namely the ranks of narrators in terms of criticism (jarh). It employs technical terminology as defined by the experts in this field among the hadith scholars. Careful consideration of these terms is essential to avoid confusion in their applications. The term “Saduq’’ (truthful) in the context of approval is considered weak by Mahmoud At- Tahan and Nour Al- Din Ater, as they argue the absence of a clear confirmation from the standard reference, as conveyed by Al-Khatib and Ibn As- Salah.

İt is known that Al-Khatib reported This form Ibn Abi Hatim, stating the ranks of narrators in “jarh and ta’dil’’ in three instances. In the first two instances, he provided detailed information, while in the third instance, he presented a general overview. Al- Khatib, however, drew, from the third instance and overlooked the first two. He asserted the the objection of “Saduq” that concerns a minor matter, emphasizing the objection based on the unrestricted description of “Saduq”.

In the third instance, Al- Khatip intended to convey that when someone is called “Saduq” and it is known that he records and examines his hadith, one should assess the extent of his errors – whether they are numerous or few. If they are numerous, his hadith should not be relied upon; if they are few, then his hadith can be accepted. As for Ibn As- Salah, he relayed Al- Khatib’s stance without referring to Ibn Abi Hatim’s book. However, his treatment of Muhammad bin Amr bin Alqamah indicates his knowledge that the hadith of the truthful person is considered good on its own, as affirmed by As- Suyuti.

Ibn Hajar’s endorsement of the hadith of the truthful person lacks a specific terminology for approximation, as evidenced by his treatment of the biographies of Asim bin Abi An- Najud and Abdullah bin Ubayy Ad- Dayli, and his definition of “hasan” in its own right. Thus, it is concluded that the status of the hadith of the truthful person is good on its own, not weak as suggested by Mahmoud At-Tahan and Nour Al-Din Ater. And the research relied on tracking and analysis.
