The impact of social media on the social relationships of audio integration students in North Sharqiyah in the Sultanate of Oman from The students’ point of view

The current study aimed to identify the impact of social media on the social relations among the hearing integration students in the northeastern in the Sultanate of Oman from the point of view of students?

The following sub-study questions emerged from this question:

What is the actual reality of the use of social media by audio integration students in North Sharqiyah in the Sultanate of Oman? Are there statistically significant differences in the use of social media from the students’ point of view, due to the grade variable?

The researcher used the descriptive survey method to achieve the objectives of the study. The study population consisted of (24) students, and the sample (11) students was chosen in an intentional manner that constitutes (458.%) of the study population. The researcher used a questionnaire he prepared to answer the study’s questions. The study found several Results: In terms of the actual reality of the use of social media by audio integration students in North Sharqiyah in the Sultanate of Oman, it was found that all students use social media, that (54.5%) use it daily, and (45.5%) spend two hours or more using it, And (54.5% ) They use it constantly, and (45.5%) their primary purpose for using it is communication.

There are no statistically significant differences in the use of social media between different grades. The study reported that the impact of social media on social relationships is neutral, according to the viewpoint of audio integration students. The study recommended directing audio integration students to rationalize the use of social media, and activating the role of the family, teachers, and specialists to raise the level of awareness related to social media. Activating educational social media accounts dedicated to audio integration students.
