مكانة الحب في الإسلام
In fact, love is one of the instincts that has been instilled in human nature and it is a good feeling towards something, so that a person can communicate with it from the heart. Love in man naturally demands to have love for those who have been kind to him, because according to the general rule, man owes kindness. Therefore, this love, in the first step, asks man to have love with his Lord and Creator who created him and created him from nothing and gave him all the blessings free of charge.
The sign of a Muslim man’s real love for Allah is created by following the Prophet of Islam, my God bless him and grant him peace, in all matters of life, so the more a person adheres to the Sunna and method of the Prophet of Islam, the stronger and firmer his love for Allah is, and the more a person distances himself from the way, method and tradition of the Prophet, the more he dissociates himself from the love and affection of Allah Almighty. The value of love requires a Muslim to love everything that Allah and His Messenger loves or has commanded us to do, on the other hand man must detach himself from the things that Allah Almighty and His Messenger do not love, he must refrain himself from the things they have forbidden him.
A Muslim must appreciate the value of love, which is a good feeling, in the first step in front of his Lord and Creator, and secondly in front of His Messenger, and later in front of everything that Allah and His Messenger love or the actions that they have commanded us to do. Therefore, human love for father, mother, son, or brother and fellow human beings is not forbidden, but the goal is that love for these creatures and every other creature must be due to the love of Allah and His Messenger.
