The Sidi Taibi commune was known to emigrate from neighboring towns, as a suburb of Rabat, Salé and Kenitra, accompanied by investments in the real estate, agricultural and industrial fields, which had a negative impact on the environment, due to the ‘demographic evolution. And socio-economic pressures due to ineffective governance of the human element in the operation. Since the emergence of informal housing, and the influx of investors in the field of commercialization of agricultural and industrial activities, the demographic structure and socio-economic characteristics have changed, and the demand for forest and water resources has increased, and construction has encroached on agriculture.
