The research discusses the possibility of financing renewable energy through green Islamic SUKUK in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through long-term Islamic banking financing, which is characterized by Islamic banks and is avoided by traditional banks that finance projects with short-term financing.
The study showed that there are several opportunities and possibilities for using green SUKUK in alternative and sustainable energy through Islamic banks, in light of the existence of several challenges that can be overcome.
The study concluded the importance of financing in this form, with the possibility of integrating traditional banks to finance these environmentally friendly projects.
