Khushal Khan is a poet of the second literary period of Pashto literature, who entered all the poetic genres or genres of Arabic language in Pashto literature and wrote Pashto poetry in all genres. Khushal Khan is famous not only for Pashto poetry; But it also has a special name and style because of Pashto prose.
Khushal Khan has the special name of Starnama in his prose. Looking at the content of Starnama, he has set some principles for the leader of an organization or community. According to him, if everyone learns these skills and traits, then he is successful in life and has the right to hold a position. The prose of Khushal Khan’s Dastarnama is simple and easy to understand. According to its content, Satranama is among the works of philosophers of the world. Khushal Khan has also used Islamic texts to accept his principles for the Afghan society.
He has also brought Quranic verses, hadiths, reasonable and other stories to strengthen the text of Starnama. The value of this research is that Khushal has gone through his words in the light of Islamic texts and presented them again. This research method is bibliographic. As a result, it can be seen that bringing Islamic reasons to the text of Khushal’s Dastarnama has also added beauty and strength.
