The study aimed to define stylistic formation and discuss its levels in the Qur’anic text while clarifying its meanings. The descriptive-analytical method was employed in this study. Among the key findings are: Stylistic formation is a complex process composed of several levels, focusing on both content and form, utilizing creative elements through poetic language that reveals the components of poetic discourse. Stylistic formation offers diverse semantic potentials, based on various levels, such as the syntactic, phonetic, and grammatical levels, among others. The verb-based structure predominated over the noun-based structure in the text, with these verbal sentences having a prominent presence in the poet’s work. The poet frequently relied on verbal structures to craft her poetic sentences, which conveyed a sense of action and renewal, as opposed to noun-based sentences that signify stability and permanence. The structural, syntactical, and stylistic patterns in the text varied, bringing with them different meanings that contributed to the enrichment of the text’s language. This diversity played a significant role in generating ideas and methods through which meaning was conveyed, further enriching the Arabic language.
The author, the text itself, and the audience are all factors that contribute to the necessity of stylistic formation in poetic texts.
Based on these findings, I propose that more academic research be directed toward a deeper examination of stylistic formation in poetic discourse. I recommend precise and objective studies such as:
The study of stylistic formation in poetry to understand culture and ideology.
Stylistic formation in free verse: an analytical study of the poetry of Nazik al-Malaika.
Stylistic formation in Andalusian Muwashshah poetry: an analytical study of the poetry of Lisan Al-Din Ibn Al-Khatib.
Stylistic formation in classical Arabic poetry: an analytical study of the poetry of Al-Mutanabbi.
The impact of rhythm and rhyme on meaning and emotion in the poetry of Al-Khansa.
These studies and similar ones play a role in clarifying the vision surrounding stylistic formation in poetic discourse, reviving and enriching the language, and imbuing it with diverse meanings.
