The study aimed to identify the role of the capabilities of microfinance institutions in raising the effectiveness of microfinance projects and the extent of their contribution to the development process in the state, the problem of the study was the lack of role played by the capabilities of microfinance institutions in achieving the effectiveness of microfinance projects, the study population in all microfinance institutions represents the state of East Darfur. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach and tested a main hypothesis: There is a role for the capabilities of microfinance institutions in achieving development. The study reached a number of important results; including the more financing institutions have financial capabilities that contribute to raising the effectiveness of the projects they fund.
