القذف، وحكمه في الشريعة الإسلامية والقانون – دراسة فقهية مقارنة –
This research aims to highlight the Islamic Sharia’s concern for preserving honor and preventing its violation. It also elucidates the concept of “Qadhf”, false accusation of adultery, particularly when it pertains to accusing a spouse of adultery, as it leads to a legal punishment (the punishment for Qadhf against a husband and the punishment for adultery against a wife) for those who fail to provide sufficient evidence in cases of mutual cursing (Li’an), provided there is no clear proof. The study also examines the legal consequences of such cases in Islamic Sharia and Lebanese statutory law, emphasizing on the magnificence of Islamic Sharia in determining a deterrent punishment for this crime. Furthermore, it explores the issue of Qadhf through social media platforms, the right to file a lawsuit for it, and whether reconciliation through financial compensation is permissible or not?
