الصحافة الموريتانية في ظل التعددية: المكاسب والتحديات
This study primarily focused on the significant acquisitions that occurred in the Mauritanian written media following the introduction of media pluralism through the constitution in July 1991. Additionally, it examined the main challenges encountered by the Mauritanian written media during this period.
The findings revealed that these challenges significantly diminished the influence of the written media on public opinion in Mauritania.
The researcher employed both descriptive analytical and historical methods to analyze the data. Ultimately, the study concluded that while media pluralism under the July constitution led to notable advancements in Mauritania’s written media, it also faced obstacles such as suppression and censorship.
