Cloud computing and its relationship to e-learning and its employment in Sudanese universities – Case study: El Daein University

The world had faced tremendous challenges due to rapid changes in social and economic aspects such as COVID19 which led to high consideration of electronic learning because it’s agreed with precautions to avoid infection by corona virus. The above mentioned challenged enabled the ministry of higher education and scientific research to adopt modern techniques in education process for sustainability.

The paper aims to modify electronic application which will accelerate appropriate using of electronic education through the internet. The modified electronic technology provided many advantages such as cost minimization, availability of education services to a wide sector of students, storage, processing, sharing, and transmission of information when it’s required and in any time in external servers available in internet cloud, in addition to the security from vPrus and hackers. The electronic education has been adopted in many higher education institutions through cloud computing projects.

The paper aims to clarify the concept of cloud computing objectives, components and its applications in electronic education beside its endorsement in higher education.

The paper also focused on proposed model of cloud computing prepared for Eldeain University.
