The Internet has introduced a new type of advertising based on providing a unique service to customers based on their preferences while also lowering costs. It is distinguished by an infinite supply. It has become known as electronic advertising, because of increased diversity of goods and services and increased competition among advertising companies. As well as digitization and excessive use of websites on the Internet, the individual found himself surrounded by an enormous number of electronic advertisements, particularly those users of social media platforms, which resulted in a qualitative leap and a second revolution in the world of the Internet in recent years.
The study concluded a number of findings after analyzing the problem posed, the most important of which is that social media platforms, led by Facebook and Instagram, compete with search engine companies on the Internet, where search engine companies lost a fierce battle whose goal was to control the world of social media.
