أسباب تدني التحصيل الدراسي لدى طلاب مدرسة الشيخ حمد بن عبيد السليمي من وجهة نظر المعلمين وأولياء الأمور والطلبة
The study aimed to identify the reasons for the low level of academic achievement for students of Sheikh Hamad bin Obaid Al-Salimi School in the Sultanate of Oman. Among the parents of Sheikh Hamad bin Obaid Al-Sulaimi School students, researchers developed a questionnaire that represents a measure of the reasons for the low level of academic achievement of students, teachers, and parents by referring to the literature and previous studies that concerned with academic achievement. The researchers found that the areas the study examined had a role in the lower academic achievement of students, where the average psychological and personal factors were high, and the field of the social environment and housing with an average estimate similarly came to the field of the school environment. The results also indicated that there are statistically significant differences between teachers and students’ assessment of the reasons for the low level of academic achievement in the school for the benefit of teachers, and the presence of statistically significant differences for reasons of low academic achievement according to residential areas in favor of the high mountainous region. The study recommended taking care of the causes that are arithmetic high and medium and work to address them by appropriate methods.
